Paul G. Aanderud • 1939 - 2009 Paul was born on January 20, 1939, a son of Peter and Gladys (Hanson) Aanderud in Voltaire, ND. He was raised and educated in Voltaire and Velva, ND. In 1958, Paul was united in marriage to Virginia Volbrecht. They later divorced. In 1968, he married Sharon Vannett, they later divorced. Paul worked as an auto mechanic at a Chrysler dealer in Minot for numerous years. He is survived by: Children: James Aanderud, Golden, CO, Marsha (Todd) Suydam, Roseglen and Vicki Lujan, Minot; ten grandchildren: brother: Leslie (Ethel) Aanderud, Riverside, CA; sister Myrna Beltz, Velva; step-daughters: Robin Vannett-Rector, Minot, Nick Vannett, Minot, Lenny Vannett, Fargo, ND; step-father Elmer Dix, Velva; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter Cheryl Ann in 1959, and daughter Deanna Aanderud in 2006. Memorial Service: Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the spring of 2010.
