Memories for Rich

 From: Janna Ronsberg

I can't tell you whast a trememndous loss this will be to the disaster response community. I had the pleasure of working with Rich while I was a state employee, and always found him to be very passionate about his work to helpo disaster victims. He alwyas found ways to circumnavigate procedure if it meants getting assistance to victims more quickly. He will truly be missed- he was a blessing to those who had experienced loss and tragedy in the form of disaster events. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. His life touched so many people and brought them hope in the most difficult of times.

Judi--
I was shocked to hear of Rich's sudden passing from John MacMartin at our Rotary Club meeting on Mon. Rich had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. I always looked forward to his fellowship at our monthly Ambassador Committee meetings. He was a great guy and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May God comfort you and your family at this most difficult time. Dan

May God bless you all as you mourn the loss of your wonderful husband, father, grandfather. I have had the privilege of working with Rich on many Northern Plains Conference committees and know what a true man of God he was and what a wonderful, fun and intelligent man he was. I am deeply saddened to have to say "goodbye for now" to such a great friend. I trust you will find peace in the assurance that your separation is temporary. God love and bless you.

Judi,

I'll always remember the Fall after you & Rich were married and you visited my family in Allegany, NY. What fun we had while sitting around the dinner table; all we did was laugh! They are great memories. Carole

We send our deepest condolences. I had the opportunity to meet and visit Rich while attending Northern Plains Conferences, and recently my husband had the wonderful opportunity of working with him on conference committees - his passion for helping others will truly be missed. He was a servant leader of God. To Chuck, I miss working with you on the ski patrol - but now realize where you got your passion for helping others. Your Dad will truly be missed. May the memories you have become the treasures you carry in your hearts. God's strength and mercy be with you now and always, Pamala & Loren Werchau, New Salem ND
PS - We will be making a memorial in your Dad's name to the NPC-UCC Disaster Relief Fund
