Doc Holliday • 1940- 2010 Doc was born February 11, 1940 in Birmingham, Alabama to Elisha and Alberta (Thornton) Holliday. He was raised and graduated from high school there. Doc enlisted in the United States Air Force on March 16, 1963. He served until February 9, 1972, when he was honorably discharged at the Minot Air Force. Doc then made his home in Minot and worked as a concrete finisher for several area concrete companies, until his retirement in 2006. Those who shared in his life, Friends, Mamie (Randy) Williams and Edger Armagost all of Minot, and numerous other friends. Funeral: Friday, December 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot, ND. Visitation: Thursday, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND.
