Ernest Frey 1925 - 2011

Ernest Frey PhotoErnest Frey, 85, Champlin, MN, formerly of Glenburn and Minot, died Wednesday, January 12, 2011 in his home.

Ernest Harvey Frey was born on November 10, 1925, a son of Fred and Regina Frey in Glenburn, ND. He was raised and educated in the Glenburn area.

In 1955, Ernest was united in marriage to Fredricka Miller. They later divorced.

Ernest retired in 1997 from St. Paul Metal Craft where he worked for 27 years.

He enjoyed dancing, horseshoes and playing aggravation.

Ernest is survived by:  Son Phillip Frey; daughters Cynthia (Roy) Hodge, Pauline (Paul) Andresen, Nanette Des Jarlait; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren: brothers: Al (Betty) Frey, Cliff (Ewaine) Frey, Richard “Dick” (Margaret) Frey, Fritz, Frey; sisters: Violet Kubler, Helen (David) New, Lillian (Gerry) Rubelke, Linda (George) Walker; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Ernest was preceded in death by his parents Fred & Regina Frey and brother Raymond Frey

Visitation: Monday, January 17, 2011 one hour prior to the service at the church

Funeral service: Monday, January 17, 2011 at 11 am at Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot

Burial:  Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.

The Frey family would like to express their gratitude for the overwhelming out pouring of love and support we have received throughout this time of great loss.  We have been truly blessed and comforted by your compassion and kindness.
