Michael DuPaul 1941 - 2010 Michael Orin DuPaul was born on October 2, 1941, a son of Ludger and Gladys (Moger) DuPaul in Minot, ND. He was raised in Minot, where he worked for his father at DePaul’s Jewelry Store. He graduated from Minot High School in 1959. Michael continued his education attending UND and worked at UND Computer Data Center. In 1976, Michael was united in marriage to Marie Dupea. From this union Jason Michael and Tina Marie were born. Michael was always very proud of his children and loved traveling with them to the ocean and to the western and northern parts of the US. They later divorced. Michael was a good salesman. During his lifetime, he sold clothing, 2-way radios, and jewelry equipment for Bulova Watch master during which time he lived in Duluth, MN and Burnsville, MN. Eventually he moved to Minot and began a career selling duro-test, vita-life, VL lighting and H & H bulbs. He also sold for W. E. Richards jewelry. Michael enjoyed living in MN, as his older brother Larry and his family lived in Apple Valley. Their love of the lakes grew from time spent at the family cabin at Lake Metigoshe, where they spent most summer weekends. He was able to continue this tradition with Larry on the St. Croix. Mickey enjoyed life and was always quick to tease and joke around. The family is focusing and remembering Mickey during his younger fun and enjoyable years of his life. We pray that he has finally found peace.
