Betty Joan DeVenere • 1951 - 2005
Betty Joan DeVenere, 53, Minot, passed away on April 7, 2005,
peacefully at her home.
She was born on July 22, 1951, in San Francisco, California the
daughter of Thomas and Betty (McGahan) Freeman. She was raised
in San Francisco and graduated from Mission High School. In October
of 1969, she was united in marriage to Anthony Patrick Devenere
in Nevada. In August of 1970, the couple had a baby girl, Gina.
In 1989, Betty and Anthony were divorced. Betty moved to Minot
in 1991, where she worked at City Laundry and most recently Trinity
Homes.
Survivors: daughter, Gina (Joseph) Olmedo, Montara, CA;
brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Freeman, Sacramento, CA and Dennis
Freeman, San Fransico, CA; sister, Penny (Charlie) King, Petaluma,
CA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by
her parents, Thomas and Betty.
Memorial Service: Friday, April 15, 2005, at 2 p.m.
at Trinity Homes Chapel, Minot.
Interment of the cremains will take place in California at
a later date.
