Allan R. Davis • 1951 - 2011 Allan Ronald Davis was born on August 4, 1951, a son of Ronald and Lyda (Fish) Davis in Rolette, ND. He was raised and educated in Rolette, graduating in 1969 from Rolette High School. Allan owned and operated a department store in Rolette for three years. He then went to work for Pamida, working in various cities over a ten year span. In 2003, he moved to Minot to be closer to relatives. While in Minot, he worked for Hancock Fabrics, and currently was employed by Super pumper. Allan was an avid quilter. He enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening. One of his greatest joys was traveling to Italy to visit his special friends Pino and Nadia Carbone. Allan is survived by: Allan was preceded in death by his father Ronald, paternal grandparents Harvey and Dorothy Davis, maternal grandparents John and Evelyn Fish, as well as several aunts, uncles, a sister-in-law and some nephews. Visitation: Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 10:00 am until service time at Thompson Larson Funeral Home, Minot Funeral Service: Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Thompson Larson Funeral Home Chapel, Minot Burial: will take place at a later date in the spring of 2011 at the Rolette Cemetery, Rolette, ND.
