Kelly
Sorensen, a Minot native and a 1997 graduate
of Des Lacs-Burlington High School, joined the Thompson-Larson
staff in 2000 as a funeral service assistant while attending
Minot State University. He majored in pre-mortuary science, and
then went on to Mount Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon.
He graduated from there in 2004 and returned to Thompson-Larson
where he worked as an apprentice. He became licensed in June
of 2005.
Kelly and his wife, Lauri live in Minot. They have a son,
Kerzy who was born in early 2006 and a daughter, Kelby, who was
born in 2007. He has a wide range of interests that include
golf. He honed his skills at the game while working at the Minot
Country Club during his student days.
