Grace Fisher came to Thompson-Larson in the late 1980s after more than 30 years in newspaper work as a reporter, editor, feature writer and librarian. She is the widow of Tom Fisher, whose parents, Catherine and Edward Fisher, purchased Thompson-Larson in 1945. Following their retirement in 1969, Tom continued as owner/operator until his death in 1996. While Grace now defers to the new owners, Messrs. Eckmann, Burkart and Kramer, as the operators of the business, she still maintains an office at the firm and spends time there on a daily basis working on a variety of assignments - many of them connected to the business, others related to her involvement in the Minot community.
